Pelikamo, the new menswear shop in Zurich, is a Swiss brand launched by Christian Hunziker, Sebastiaan Vadasz, Urs Wietlisbach and Mia Zeltner. With our own private label collection and exciting brands such as Travelteq, Mismo, Ron Dorff, Lavenham and Sanders we are a one-stop for the male, urban professional. Our focus lies on classic business and casual clothing that are simple, wearable, yet of highest quality in terms of materials and manufacturing. Our objective is to offer our customers timeless and authentic basics – no frills, no short-term fashion trends and certainly no mass production. We want our customers to feel at home at Pelikamo, to sit down and flip through some magazines while enjoying an espresso and trying on a couple of shirts and blazers.

We believe in timeless and authentic products, handcrafted with care, and offer a distinctive variety of products a man may need in life. Wanting it to be about more than just clothes, we are always on the look-out for specialized manufacturers around the world and are very excited to have found a small distillery in the central region of Switzerland to produce our own Whisky. Distilling Whisky in Switzerland was prohibited until recently (the ban dates back to the war to prevent the population from turning valuable food sources into hard liquor and was only lifted in 1999) but we are glad that a couple of drinking enthusiasts have seized the opportunity. The Pelikamo Whisky N°8 is a classic Single Malt Whisky made from pure German barley and Swiss water. Aged for 8 years in oak barrels previously used for red wine, the Pelikamo Whisky is elegantly smooth, with a deep flavour that reveals fruit, gentle spice and a touch of oak. CHF 69.

The young Swedish brand offers compelling everyday items and we are very excited to add the beautifully simple briefs with no frills to our range. But it’s not just about the aesthetics, The White Briefs takes social and environmental responsibility and delivers a high quality product in all aspects. Humanity, quality and 360 degrees of new thinking solutions are the key ingredients of their brand philosophy. Located in the surroundings of the wonderful landscape of Österlen in the southern part of Sweden, The White Briefs delivers all we expect from a new-age start-up. Two different brief styles as well as undershirts are now available at Pelikamo. Made of 100% organic interlock cotton, which is soft and has a natural flexibility for the utmost comfort.

While working as a curator for numerous contemporary art exhibitions Samuel Gassman began researching the “Origin of the Button” for a documentary project and was drawn to the cufflink. During this time he worked on his first cufflink and receiving extremely positive feedback he soon created a full line of cufflinks. Known for his unique design and using only the best materials he now works with clients all over the world. The cufflinks are designed and handcrafted with Mother-of-pearl and silver links in France. Lavenham is an English manufacturer of superior quality country clothing and horse-rugs, using only traditional English designs, methods of manufacture and the best materials sourced in Britain. The brand was founded in 1969 and made the first nylon quilted horse rug, closely followed by matching quilted jackets, all produced in-house at their factory in Suffolk. The quilted jackets are just as ideal for your daily wear in the city as well as your next weekend trip to the countryside. Various styles are available in navy and military green at Pelikamo, Fr. 172 – 252.

With great shoes comes great responsibility. But why not invest the same amount of pleasure in caring for your new pair of shoes as when purchasing them? And with the right care, a good shoe might last forever. A small artisanal family company whose history lies in the making of wooden shoe lasts for some of the biggest names in footwear has made itself a name for high quality shoe care. Based in Montegranaro, Turms produces breathtakingly beautiful shoe care products that come in a wooden box with leather handles and pull-out drawer. The box contains various polish tins, shoe glove, multiple brushes, shoe deodorant and shampoo, suede protector and everything else you will need to make your shoes last a lifetime.
