The Swiss picture book hero has long deserved a special edition. The illustrations are newly lithographed from the early prints and appear in the colors the artist was aiming for at the time.

The so-called "Engadine Trilogy", the three stories with Ursli and Flurina, are thus published in one volume for the first time; accompanied by articles on Alois Carigiet and Selina Chönz, the history of the book and its significance.
