Distilling Whisky in Switzerland was prohibited until recently, the ban dates back to the war to prevent the population from turning valuable food sources into hard liquor and was only lifted in 1999. But we are glad that a couple of drinking enthusiasts have seized the opportunity. Our Whisky is produced in the central region of Switzerland and is a classic Single Malt made from pure German barely and Swiss mountain water. Aged for 12 years in oak barrels previously used for red wine, the Pelikamo Whisky is elegantly smooth, with a deep flavour that reveals fruit, gentle spice and a touch of oak.
